COCOA INDUSTRY (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1968 L.I 586Regulation 24:An Inspector may, in his discretion, furnish an of owner or his agent with a certified true copy of the inspection. results of the inspection of any bags of sealed cocoa on payment by the owner or his agent of a fee of ten new pesewas per one hundred bags or part thereof, provided that an owner or his agent who requires a bag-by-bag examination, shall pay a fee of three new pesewas per bag." (iii) on demand by the prosecutor, gave all the information in his power with respect to the person or persons from whom he obtained the produce; or(b) the cocoa concerned consisted of sweepings from a place of storage and there was no intention to sell or otherwise deal in the same; andProvided further that any previous grading certification by an Inspector of such cocoa shall be a defence.(2) Notwithstanding anything in this regulation, the Chief Inspector may by writing authorise person to have in his possession or to sell to person whom the Chief Inspector is satisfied requires cocoa for use in the manufacture in Ghana of Cocoa product, any sub-standard cocoa duly marked in accordance with regulation 13 of these Regulations and the Chief Inspector may at any time revoke authorisation. |
