Whereas special circumstances exist which render it, in the opinion of the Registrar of Companies, expedient that the exemption provided for in this Instrument should be granted :Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred on the Registrar of Companies by subsection (l) of section 198 of the Companies Code, 1963 (Act 179), this Instrument is made this  10th day of March, 1965.The Ghana Timber Federation is exempted from complying with the provisions of subsection (1) of section 198 of the Companies   Code, 1963 (Act 179) for one year commencing on the 10th day of   March, 1965.
