Patent Regulations, 1996 (LI 1616)Regulation 30—Restoration of Lapsed Patents and Applications which are Deemed to have been Withdrawn.(1) An application under section 32 (5) of the Law shall be made on Form No. 16 and shall be supported by evidence in support of the statements made in that application.(2) If, upon consideration of the evidence, the Registrar is not satisfied that a case for an order under section 31 (6) of the Law has been made out, he shall notify the person requesting the restoration accordingly and, unless within one month such person requests to be heard in the matter, the Registrar shall refuse the application.(3) If the Registrar decides to allow the application, he shall notify the person requesting the restoration, accordingly and require him to file Form No. 17, together with Form No. 13 in the Second Schedule and upon payment of the unpaid annual fee and the restoration fee, the Registrar shall order the restoration of the patent and publish this fact in the Gazette. |
