Tourism (Registration and Licensing of Food, Beverage and Entertainment Enterprise) Regulations, 2016 (L.I. 2238)Regulation 15—Registration and licensing of manager(1) A person shall not be engaged as a manager of a food, beverage or entertainment enterprise unless that person is registered in accordance with section 29 of the Act and is licensed under these Regulations.(2) A person registered as a manager qualifies to be licensed by the Authority if that person(a) holds a minimum qualification of a Diploma in hotel, catering and institutional management, hospitality management, tourism management or a tourism-related subject awarded by an institution recognised by the Authority; or(b) has a minimum of three years working experience in the industry and has undergone relevant training determined by the Authority; and(c) has obtained a Police Clearance Certificate specifying the criminal record, if any, of that person.(3) The Authority shall compile a list of tourism and hospitality training institutes accredited by the National Accreditation Board. |
