Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (Restaurant, And Eating Houses or Chop Bars) Bye-Laws, 19951. (1) No place shall be used as a restaurant or eating-house unless it has been approved and licensed by the Assembly. (2) Every licence (which in every case shall be subject to such conditions as the Assembly may impose) shall be a yearly licence and shall take effect from the date on which it is granted and it shall determine on the last day of the year in which the licence is issued. (3) Every licence granted shall be personal to the licensee only and shall not be transferable. 4. (1) Every kitchen in a restaurant or eating-house shall be of an approved type with a concrete floor, and in every such kitchen suitable fly-proof storage for foodstuffs shall be provided together with one or more tables for the preparation food. (2) In every such kitchen adequately covered receptacles for the disposal of refuse shall be provided and maintained by the licensee. |
