Minerals And Mining (Health, Safety And Technical Regulations, 2012) (L.I. 2182)Regulation 185(1) Where a person working in a mine becomes aware of the fact that any other person is unknowingly exposed to conditions arising from excessive amounts of toxic gas or fumes, dust or harmful temperatures, that person shall take steps that are necessary to remove the other person from the exposure.(2) A person who removes an exposed person under sub-regulation (1), shall immediately inform the manager of the mine of the circumstances of the exposure and the manager shall take further steps necessary to ensure the safety and health of each person who has been or may subsequently be exposed to the conditions specified in subregulation (1) and to rectify and prevent a recurrence of those conditions. |
