Section 16: A person seeking registration shall apply in the prescribed form to the registrar of the Authority.

Procedures to Follow

1.  A person seeking registration shall apply in the prescribed form to the Registrar of the Council.
2.  (1) Subject to subsection (2) of this section where the Council is satisfied that an applicant is of good character and-
(a) holds a degree in pharmacy; or
(b) holds a qualification equivalent to a degree that entitles him to be registered as a pharmacist in the country where the qualification was obtained, it shall direct the Registrar to enter the applicant's name in the register and to issue the applicant with a certificate of registration on the payment of the prescribed fee by the applicant.
3.   No person shall be registered under subsection (1) of this section unless he has taken and passed the Ghana Pharmacy Professional Qualifying Examination....
