Minerals And Mining (Health, Safety And Technical Regulations, 2012) (L.I. 2182)Regulation 62(1) Where the holder of a mineral right decides to erect beacons in pursuance of these Regulations, that holder shall personally supervise the erection of the beacons and the marking out of the boundaries.(2) Where the holder of(a) a reconnaissance licence;(b) a restricted reconnaissance licence;(c) a prospecting licence; or(d) a restricted prospecting licence,decides not to apply for the grant of a mining lease after that holder has erected beacons in an area, that holder shall personally supervise the removal of the beacons marking out the boundaries.(3) A person shall not erect a beacon or anything purporting to be a beacon between five o'clock in the evening and eight o'clock in the morning.(4) The holder of a mineral right which has been surrendered or cancelled or which is expired shall not mark out any area covered by that mineral right either directly or indirectly, until after a period of ninety days from the date of notification by the Commission of that surrender, cancellation or expiry. |
