Ghana Shipping (Maritime Labour) Regulations, 2015 (L.I. 2226)Regulation 11(1) A shipowner shall not permit a seafarer to work on a ship unless that seafarer(a) has successfully completed training for personal safety; and(b) is trained or certified as competent or otherwise qualified to perform the duties of a seafarer.(2) The training and certification requirements under sub regulation (1) shall be in accordance with the Merchant Shipping (Training, Certification, Manning and Watchkeeping), Regulations, 2004 (L.I. 1790) or any other relevant law. |
