Occupational And Personal Pension Schemes (General) Regulations, 2011 (LI 1990)Regulation 37(1) An approved trustee of a registered scheme shall ensure that a person who becomes a member of a scheme is given a document containing information relating to the scheme within sixty days after that person becoming a member of the scheme.(2) The document shall (a) include a general description of the scheme, such as the terms, fees and charges payable under the scheme; (b) specify particulars of funds if the scheme consists of two or more constituent funds; and (c) specify the person, if any, designated by the trustee as the contact person for the scheme either by name or by reference to the person's position or job description, and the means by which the person can be contacted. (3) Where a member of an employer sponsored scheme or a master trust scheme is an employee of a participating employer, the trustee shall give to the member's employer the document referred to in sub regulation (1) and the employer shall give the document to the member within fourteen working days of receipt of the document by the employer. |
